BOY ARE WE BORING

May 7, 2016

A fun day at sea.  I did my Captain Kidd talk.  Bonnie went to crafts and made a Thank You Card for Dana (and Grayson) for sharing the last two days ashore with us.  We went to the Pacific Lounge and listened to music, played cards, and ate three times.  That's it.  Here's Bonnie!

She's got nothing to say, so TTFN!

No, no, no.  He's not going to do that to me.  I have lots to say!  If I don't soon win a card game he is going to be sleeping on the balcony. Oh, wait we don't have a balcony.

The day was pretty bland.  After breakfast, I walked 14 and 1/2 laps on the jogging track. there weren't many people out today.  It was beautiful and nice. Not hot at all.  The sea was like a sheet of glass most of the day. It was very calm. We ere not going very fast and there were almost no waves.

I did spend an hour making a card and it was pretty nice, if I do say so myself.  It wasn't a kit.  I had to design it myself using glitter, ribbon, glue and beads. I wanted to tell Dana thanks for the touring help.

Speaking of Dana. they have had a person in the cabin next to them smoking in the cabin and on the balcony all cruise. They have complained in person and in writing almost every day.  Dana has asthma and this has caused her terrible breathing difficulties at night. Well, this afternoon, they had a meeting in the office and they were moved to a suite. Two bathrooms, a Jacuzzi bathtub, balcony and etc.  This room became available after someone had to leave the ship in Puerto Vallarta because of a family illness at home. They have invited us and our table mates for a tour and a visit. How cool. I will take pictures to show how the rich folks live.  They were excited and Dana said last night was her first night being able to sleep through.

Supper tonight was a shrimp cocktail, a goat cheese soufflé and fried chicken (it reminded me of Banquet frozen chicken dinner).  It did come with fries.  Dessert was sugar free mint chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.

The show was a new comedian, Glenn Hirsch, he got on in Puerto Vallarta.  He was funny and did a whole hour show.

Well, we are back in our room and the cabin steward did not bring us ice again tonight. Two nights in a row. David had to go to bar upstairs to get some.

I have a drink made and I am going to have a snack. Love you all.

Okay, I am back.  She pushed me out of the way, dropped my tender boat onto the floor and made me crawl away while she pecked and hunted.

I did exciting things today, I was just teasing earlier.

I bought a bag of peanuts at Wal-Mart yesterday and today I opened them and poured them into a zip lock bag so they would remain fresh.

The ship is offering a men's only special message and free haircut.  It is $85 instead of the regular price of $135.  I called them and asked if I could have the free haircut only.

Since they said, "NO!" I walked out onto Deck 5 and let the wind blow through my hair for about a minute.  That was enough of nature and I came back inside.

I spent about 10 minutes watching two black and white birds fly around the ship, glide through the air, and then dive beneath the waves.  I'm surprised she didn't tell you that.  It was she who pointed out the birds to me.  "Look!"

And I bought a magnet featuring a picture of the Pacific Princess for $1.00.  You can look for it on the refrigerator at 233 next week.

So, see, I was teasing about it being a boring day.

Until tomorrow, then.

TTFN
