THE LAST OF THE PACIFIC PRINESS PICTURES

Making preparations to enter the Panama Canal (Bonnie was one of the first ones out watching)

Lots of ships, each waiting their turn.

Ship's photographers going out to record our passage.

Another work boat approaching us.

There were about 11 men who did various things to help us smoothly through the canal.

A new bridge being built over the entrance to the canal. The new canal is behind Bonnie as she takes this pix.

Entering the lock.

Out on Lake Gatun.

Part of the 9 mile Culebra Cut -- the hardest part of the canal to construct.

After the second set of locks.

The bridge, whose name we do not remember.

The pacific Pacific Ocean.

Duh!

Info about the Park.

The sloth, the first creature we saw in the rain forest park.

A Jesus Christ lizard. So named because he can walk on water.

One tired hiker.

A second tired hiker (he was glad she wanted to quit).

Wal-Mart in Puerto Vallarta.

Senior Frogs are every where.

Remember Woolworths.
One of many interesting, and weird, sculptures.

Neptune. Minus an arm.

Eat more chiken!

Along the Malacon.

Our Lady of Guadalupe

View of the tower.

No idea who this is, but we thought he looked like Mr. Rooney, of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A painting inside the church, of Our Lady.

Window flowers.

These are just two of the windows that were decorated like this.

A flower shop.

Great capture of one of the domes of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The old city market where we bought an ice cold Coca Cola and other stuff.

Roots of the tree growing out of ground.

We made two visits.

These buses all go to Wal-Mart. It says so in the front window of everyone we saw.

The last formal night. A special dessert. It hit the right note!

STILL MORE PICTURES FROM THE PACIFIC PRINCESS

These are Bonnie's photographs.  Just as we saw daily events differently, so her pictures often show an eye that captured things that I missed.  Enjoy!

Small ships racing a Holland America cruise ship.

The sun dog

Another shot of the sun dog.

A day at sea.

Photographed from Deck 5, crocheting in progress.

A captivating performer.

The old fort in Cartagena.

Photograph of a garita with flowers, painted on a building wall.

The gate into the Old City.

Roof top shot.

The wall.

One of the old cathedrals. Go back two pictures and see that this clock keeps time (unlike Hawaii 50)

In the Museum of Modern Art. Notice the unusual details added to each.

An old woman reading her Bible.

The view as we drove back to the ship.
