THE GLAD RAGS ARE PUT AWAY

December 19, 2018

Tonight was the last formal night of our cruise, and the tux and other fancy duds are back on hangers awaiting unveiling on the Carnival Pride next month.  The singers and dancers did an excellent show called “Bravo” which featured a lot of show tunes and great choreography.  It is one of the best cast shows we’ve seen and we’ve seen a lot of good ones.

I have two more talks to give, and that’s good because there are only two more sea days.  And it is also good, because I only have two more jokes.  One is about the potato wedding and the other is The Hub Cap Joke.  We have received our disembarkation instructions and luggage tags, so Friday night we will pack up our stuff and prepare to go to Budget rental and secure a ride for the trip home.

We won no competitions today.  A good reason for that is we entered no competitions today.  I guess it’s fair that we give others a chance.  There is a bean bag toss championship tomorrow, but it is during naptime, so I guess we won’t be in it.  I’d like to participate in the horse races or maybe a game of bingo, but on Princess we are not allowed to gamble in direct competition with the full-fare guests.

Well, it’s late.  She’s tired and will go blogless for the second night in a row.  Up early tomorrow for breakfast and rehearsal.

See you later.
